We used the challenge process for more than 50 classifications and about 60 percent of the challenges were successful in increasing the equity recommendations - complete list at seiu221.org/countycontract/

Last night, we were able to see the results of the Equity Study Challenges reflecting the Cost of Living. View the results of the challenges by following this link.

The County has not agreed to fund any of these recommendations, which is why we need to increase the pressure. To do that, we launched a petition urging Supervisors to invest in County services and the workers who provide them.
