SEIU Local 221 Donates to Employee Rights Center

San Diego— SEIU Local 221 today donated $1,000 to the San Diego Employee Rights Center (ERC) as part of Local 221’s ongoing support for the work the ERC performs on behalf of all working people in San Diego. The San Diego ERC helps non-union and union workers with a host of services including unemployment claims, National Labor Relations Board procedures, wage disputes, disability insurance and workers compensation.

“We are glad to be able to contribute to the excellent work of the Employee Rights Center,” SEIU Local 221 President Sharon-Frances Moore said.

The donation was presented to Peter Zschiesche, Director of the Employee Rights Center.

“We want to thank SEIU Local 221 for their generous support of the ERC,” Zschiesche said. “I’m glad they recognize that we are a valuable community resource for union members and their families.”
