SEIU Local 221 members will be traveling to Sacramento to lobby State Legislators about how the proposed state budget cuts will impact their jobs and the public.
It is important that Legislators hear directly from us about how the proposed budget cuts affect us, our jobs and our families.
We have the opportunity to meet with Legislators from both sides of the aisle and make our voices heard. The flight to Sacramento, food and ground travel expenses in Sacramento will be paid for by Local 221's political funds, which are collected through member political donations and not dues money.
