The Executive Board of SEIU International voted to endorse U.S. Senator Barack Obama for President of the United States. Although the member-leaders of SEIU Local 221 decided at the 2007 SEIU Member Political Action Conference not to endorse a candidate in the Presidential Primary, Local 221 will respect the decision of the International Executive Board and endorses Senator Obama.
