Stay home except for essential needs order

Our union supports the steps taken by Gov. Gavin Newsom ordering Californians to stay at home during the coronavirus, COVID-19, pandemic. These are challenging times for members and the communities we serve, but we know that solidarity can carry us through even the most difficult times. Our union leadership is proactively communicating with public officials, legal counsel, and employers to plan next steps. We will let you know as soon as we have more guidance.

Stay home except for essential needs order

As the COVID-19 pandemic develops, our union is working to make sure that workers and community members are protected. We will continue to push employers to quickly respond to concerns. We encourage respect for all employees and the community members that they serve during this challenging period. Being united in our union to address this virus is another example of why all working people need the opportunity to join together in a union, no matter where they work.
