L.A. SEIU Presidential Forum, Oct. 3-6

SEIU Members from around the county will participate in the Unions for All Summit from Oct. 3 to 6 in Los Angeles. We will be joined by the leading candidates in the Democratic primary. Would you like to join us?

If so, follow this link to submit your application.

The presidential election is a huge opportunity for SEIU members to make the importance of unions central to the national discourse. SEIU member-leaders from across the country are working to elect a president who is committed to expanding union rights for all, make healthcare more accessible and make sure all of us have an equal shot at a good life – regardless of whether we are black, brown or white, where we’re from or how much money we have. The Unions for All summit is an opportunity for members to engage with Presidential candidates on these critical issues, share strategies with SEIU locals around the county, and strengthen skills to bring back to San Diego County.

The Unions for All Summit is open to all SEIU 221 members in good standing. Travel, lodging and transportation are covered by the union. Participants will need to take off work Thursday, Oct. 3 and Friday, Oct. 4 and if possible. Participants are required to submit an application. The deadline to submit your application is Aug. 30.
