Demand an end to patient dumping

Across the state, hospitals dump homeless patients in the streets. This results in further illness and sometimes death.

California Senate Bill 1152 will end the cruel practice of homeless patient dumping by establishing minimum standards for how hospitals should discharge homeless individuals. This includes ensuring homeless patients are not discharged in hospital gowns to unknown locations.

Call Assemblymember Lorena Gonzalez Fletcher

Tell her to support SB 1152 to stop patient dumping. All patients – including homeless individuals – deserve dignity and respect.
