Save the date – Juneteenth Celebration

Please join us for the annual Juneteenth Celebration* and BBQ hosted by the African-American Action Committee (AAAC) of SEIU Local 221.

This year’s theme is “The Fight is Worldwide – Tribute to Nelson Mandela” and the guest speaker is Cheryl Alethia Phelps, Social Change Consultant. Ms. Phelps was on the staff of the Legislation and National Security Subcommittee monitoring U.S. support for democracy in South Africa and was there for the 1994 election of Nelson Mandela.
